My Personal Response (Painting the town)

This week for reading our teacher gave us a task to make a personal response about the text we read called Painting the Town written by Renata Hopkins. This text made me think about how art can be used in so many different ways and people really enjoy it. This is my personal response Hope you enjoy :)

	QUESTION	Will these art pictures last forever?   When will the art museum re-open?  What comes to their mind when they paint the walls?
	WAS SURPRISED ABOUT	People try to make the city pretty even if they might get bust down   Some people take there time to make the city look bright  How many people are doing this to the city
	LIKED	People really care about their city   They use their own stencils  That they are changing christchurch
	DIDN’T LIKE	The art museum closed down   Some of the paintings are going to waste  The amount of earthquakes in christchurch
	WHAT DO WE NEED TO   CHANGE.	The broken buildings   Some bad graffiti into beautiful art like the ones in the book  People on the streets  can live next to a beautiful picture

	DIDN’T UNDERSTAND	How many people do this to the city?   Why would people make art in an earthquake place? Why do most people hate the paintings people work so hard on?

I think this task was Really fun because it helped me to make a good summary about the book Painting the Town

My Infographic

 Hello viewers This week For reading I made an info graphic on the news article Rocket lab soars into space. An info graphic is an even amount of writing and pictures or symbols to represent the  text you are talking about.  This is my work Enjoy :)  

while I was creating this work I learnt that an info graphic has to have symbols or pictures to make the text even more interesting to read. I thought this was an easy task to work with but took quite a long time to put together

 On Monday rooms 7,8 and 9 had an opening ceremony of our new classrooms. We were all very excited for this moment to happen. We decided to share some information about the move and photos on the day we were moving in. This is my work And feel free to comment.

On Monday the whole senior syndicate moved to other class rooms as one whole class. I thought this was a fantastic Idea because we can all share Ideas and participate all as one

Some of the good things are that the whole senior senior syndicate is a full class and all the classes are very colourful.  I also like how we can work with different buddies.  And especially bigger space to work in.                              

some of the negative things are wearing no shoes in the class rooms and it is a little little bit more loud and everyone quickly rushes to the furniture and fight over them.

When I moved into this new classroom I felt really comfortable and excited to be in a new space. I think the different colours in each classroom was really was creative because it gave a colourful vibe to each room. the best part is, in one classroom it has a green screen all around the wall I think that is pretty cool. Now the only other thing we need to do is Follow the syndicate treaty carefully. Listen to all the teachers while they are talking and respect each other how you want to be treated.

                     

                           

digital footprint learning

Today we had a new cyber smart teacher and his name was Jerad. He came in to tell Room 7 about digital foot prints. Jerad made a task for each of us to complete. The task we had was to pick a favourite blog and type what groups of people would visit this blog. This is my work. 

My Story Starter

 This term room 7 we have been writing our own creative story starter about any thing we like. I decided to make a story starter on something creepy. I hope you enjoy and feel free to comment.                       

                         

this term the year 4's to year 6's had swimming sports and we all had different feelings but at the end I thought we were all proud of what we did today.
